Corporate Event Production Checklist: Sound, Lighting and LED
Sound and microphones
Check the number and type of microphones required for presenters, panel discussions, performances and announcements. Confirm speaker positions, playback sources and monitoring requirements.
Lighting
Lighting should support the programme as well as the visual environment. Consider stage lighting, presenter lighting, room ambience, branding areas and lighting cues for performances.
LED screens and visual content
Confirm LED screen dimensions, viewing positions, content formats, playback sources and branding requirements. Test presentation slides, videos and other media before the event.
Stage and staging
Stage dimensions, access steps, lecterns, furniture, branding and performance areas should be planned around the programme and venue.
Technical crew
Assign technical operators and clear responsibilities for sound, lighting, video, stage management and show cues. A rehearsal helps identify issues before guests arrive.
On-site technical checks
Complete equipment testing, cable checks, signal checks, microphone checks and content playback before the programme begins. Keep the final running order accessible to the technical team.
